Dr Bluhm GmbH (DBG) was founded in 1984 by its President, Dr Thorsten Bluhm (Professor for Physical Chemistry at the University of Düsseldorf, Germany; now retired).

DBG started with distribution of laboratory equipment. Since then it has expanded its business into three branches:

Consulting

Independent scientific consultancy on environmental protection.
In the near future, we will also offer consulting in Environmental Ethics.

Distribution

Air, Water, and Soil Pollution Monitoring. Process Monitoring. Special Petroleum Equipment. Water & Waste Water Treatment Systems. Automotive Workshop Testing Equipment. Process Observation & Visual Control. Equipment for Semiconductor Processing.

Training

Instruction on measuring systems in the producers’ factories and in European research centers.

DBG profits from the practical training and experience of its President, Dr Bluhm, whose twenty years of basic research in molecular spectroscopy have been complemented by five years of applied research in cleaning technologies and environmental protection.

DBG’s Area of Operation has expanded to virtually all countries of the Middle East, which Dr Bluhm has been visiting on a regular basis for more than twenty years. In May 2011, DBG has opened a service center run by EnviroTrade & Solutions FZ – LLC in the United Arab Emirates.
